I made something like this in college, but I had a heat exchanger sandwhich with Peltier coolers. Had the cold side of the peltier on the oil heat exchanger and then had a water cooled hot side of the peltier. Was able to get far below ambient temperature on the? oil side.

If it did the motherboard and other components would short out and fry, yeah it? seems like a stupid idea, sticking your motherboard and all into a liquid... but it doesn't hurt the machine at all, in fact it actually helps it be cooler, so it'll work better.

actually the fans would last just as long if not longer, because the oil acts like lubricant on the? bearings and motor so the extra friction is offset by the extra lubricant

you could still use Liquid Cooling as the tubing would be run to the components. Separate? radiator and components.

there is one major ...
there is one major downside to this system.... the Faraday Cage (Metal Case) no longer exists!!! the Metal case Protects the Sensitive Electronics that are used on the Motherboard and Video? cards! No Metal Case = No Protection!!! Beware of RF & EM Interference!!!
